At the top of a grocery list, tap Add Item and start typing.
After three characters, a list of suggestions will appear. Over time, ChefTap will learn items that you use frequently and put those at the top of the list.
If you like to use speech recognition, it works nicely here.
Note that you can add any text that you want, even if it’s not a conventional ingredient (e.g., “Smoothie stuff”, “Adam’s cookies”). Tap on a new item to put it into an aisle.
