Add non-recipe items to a meal

When planning a meal, you might want to include items that don’t have recipes, such as “corn on the cob”, or “Susan’s potato salad”.

To add non-recipe items:

  1. From the Plan tab, open a meal.
  2. Tap Add Items.
  3. On the dialog box, tap the Items tab.
  4. The items that appear on this tab are the same items that may be suggested when you type in a grocery list. Use the search field to filter the list.Select an item
  5. Tap on an item to select it. Selected items will appear in a chip at the top of the list.Item is selected
  6. Tap the checkmark to save your selections.

If the item that you want to add is not on the list of items, tap Create New Item to add it.
