When planning a meal, you might want to include items that don’t have recipes, such as “corn on the cob”, or “Susan’s potato salad”.
To add non-recipe items:
- From the Plan tab, open a meal.
- Tap Add Items.
- On the dialog box, tap the Items tab.
- The items that appear on this tab are the same items that may be suggested when you type in a grocery list. Use the search field to filter the list.
- Tap on an item to select it. Selected items will appear in a chip at the top of the list.
- Tap the checkmark to save your selections.
If the item that you want to add is not on the list of items, tap Create New Item to add it.
